Several weeks ago prior to our journey to America for the Rosh Hashanah celebration, whilst worshipping and praying one morning at the church building I heard The Lord say “If you will build it, they will come” meaning if that I will build a temple of praise and worship and prayer that  His church would be built. “If my Name be lifted up from the earth I will draw all men unto me”. (John 12:32) and “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations” (Matthew 21 13).  I asked The Lord to bring some more people to join me to pray and worship to build His tabernacle. On the Sunday of that same week, two people approached me, one before that morning service and the other after the morning service and said that The Lord had been speaking to them during the week and that they were to ask me to pray with them.   I was so encouraged and that week before we left for America we met to worship and lift up The Name of The Lord for four mornings. My heart was much encouraged by what The Lord was building but still had (and still have ) an overwhelming burden for “the church” to awaken and arise and “come out of Babylon (confusion) “ 

Last week The Lord spoke to me and said “If you will build an altar I will come”, not “they will come” There was an urgency to this message.  I kept hearing “Build your altar, Build your altar” and along with it, “Build your spiritual “Goshen”.” (Goshen was a city of refuge where Gods people were safe when His judgements fell on the nations around them”) see Exodus 9:26. The children of Israel were not subject to the plagues, the hail (those who feared god were safe) and when the land was in darkness for three days (see Exodus 10:23) the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. 

It’s Him we are building the altar for.  It is an altar for Worship.  Whether “they” come or not we are to build an altar for Him.  Most of the church “structures” today are built to accommodate people and their “needs”.  Many have become focused on “causes”, but God wants to awaken and bring us back to the altar or worship where all our needs will be met (“in Him”) “In Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). We must find ourselves (“in HIM”) in the days just ahead, not merely “in a church structure”. Out of that will flow a “river of healing to the nations” 

The Lord says. “Yes it is true in My Word that it says “Come boldly to the throne in your time of need “and “we enter boldly through the blood of Jesus” (who is our ark) but there is a way to the ark which cannot be bypassed. It is via the laver (for washing…….we are washed by the water of the Word. We continue washing as we repent continually as His Word convicts and cuts away that which is not of Him. It is a continual process as the closer we get to the light the more is unveiled and exposed, and it’s also via the Brazen Altar (worship). We have to restore the order. The blood was sprinkled On the Mercy seat which was on top of The Ark. The Lord established order in His tabernacle we must come into a revelation of the fullness thereof.  It gave us a blueprint of what is to come. 

The Lord has been speaking to me for several years now saying “The Glory is coming” and as we see His Glory approaching we are excited. We are excited about “all the good things” because “God is good” and “His kindness leads us to repentance” but His Glory coming is a “double-edged sword”. His sword has on one side “kindness’ and on the other side “severity”. It is one and the same sword. I will bring righteousness and Justice. It will cut away that which is not right. It will separate truth from lies. I hear The Lord saying. Make sure you find yourself on “the kind side” of His sword as it is about to swing into the earth to reap the harvest and mete out justice upon His enemies.  All of God’s attributes will be made manifest in “the day” that His Glory comes in fullness.  Malachi 3:2 says “who can endure The Day of His coming. And who can stand when He appears, For He is like a refiners fire and a purifier of silver, He will purify the sons of Levi (the priesthood who minister before The Lord day and night) and purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord, An offering of righteousness (what is right and true)” Gods throne is established on righteousness. ie; what is true, and justice (right judgements). 

He says in Malachi 3:1. “Behold, I send my messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me, And The Lord WHOM YOU SEEK WILL COME SUDDENLY TO HIS TEMPLE” I believe we are very close to the time of “suddenly” spoken by the prophet Malachi. 

“Even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, Behold He is coming says The Lord. 

Build your altar. Build your altar.  

I hear The Lord say “Disconnect yourselves from the world’s pattern” Matthew 6:19-34 Lay not up for yourselves treasure upon the earth where moth and rust corrupt and where thieves break through and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust does corrupt, where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also. And verse 24. No man can ser e two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other hear The Lord say, it is imperative that the people who call themselves by My Name to CHOOSE to live deliberately; “to walk circumspectly for the days are evil”. We have entered a time period of acceleration of both the advancement of darkness and the advancement of God’s Kingdom, (the Kingdom of light and truth) which is an everlasting Kingdom. I hear Him saying “Choose to live for what is eternal, not for what is here today and gone tomorrow”. 

When He said that I looked up the full reference from which the scripture comes that says “walk circumspectly”. It comes from Ephesians Chapter 5. I believe that The Lord would have us read this in bold type.   

“Therefore be followers of God as dear children, And walk in love as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God, a sweet-smelling aroma BUT FORNICATION AND ALL UNCLEANNESS OR COVETOUSNESS, LET IN NOT EVEN BE NAMED  AMONG YOU as is fitting for saints for neither FILTHINESS, NOR FOOLISH TALKING NOR COARSE JESTING, which are neither fitting, but rather GIVING OF THANKS, For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man who is an idolater, HAS ANY INHERITANCE, in The Kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words for because of these things, the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them, for you were once in darkness but now you are in the light in The Lord. Walk as children of the light. . Verse 15 says “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” 

The Lord also said to me last week that His name is being blasphemed by people that call themselves by His Name, and that many times we “take His Name in vain”. We are ashamed and silent at times when we should speak up for what is right. We compromise. We agree with the world so as “not to hurt their feelings”. Taking His Name in vain is not just using His Name as a “curse word”(and that is blasphemy) but taking His Name in vain is carrying His Name without due honour and without compromise. We are supposed to be ambassadors, advancing His Kingdom and advancing His Name. We carry The Name of The King of Kings. He is The King of the universe. We are Sons of The Kingdom and Joint heirs.  We need to become very deliberate about representing His Name.  In Romans 2:24 we read that “The Name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you” as it is written. I believe that God is highlighting chapter 2 of Romans in this time so that we may “examine ourselves” because we are those who “have the truth” so we need to “walk according to the truth” The Lord says that “He is coming near us for judgement”. His judgement are always good and if we are aligned rightly with the truth we will stand securely but he is warning us that if we have attachments to the world; its ways or its “ stuff” then we will “go down with whatever goes down”. He wants us to “examine ourselves now” in order that we disconnect ourselves, turn away from, and come out of; in other words, repent of any agreement we have walked in or are walking in with the world and its ways.  

I have been hearing The Lord say that we have very little time to prepare the altar for his presence; to position ourselves “in the shadow of his wings” (Psalm 91), to align ourselves to Truth so that when His Glory comes we will be in the right place at the right time; That we will be awake and watching and that we will be about “The Fathers business” and not about our own… in most if not all the references to The Lords coming to His people, he is portrayed as coming at an unexpected hour. 

I hear The Lord say that “men have built platforms when I asked them to prepare an altar for my presence”. 

Often times when The Lord has given me prayer assignments or revelation of something new that I “see in His Word” He directs me to acquire an item to represent that revelation and set it as a “memorial” (just as in the days of the patriarchs God would ask them to set up a “memorial”) so that every time I would look at it I would remember and pray into or prophesy into or thank The Lord for what he is revealing and doing in these days. 

For a while now I have been sensing that I must buy an old-looking clock because The Lord is saying that “time is measured” and I believe that he is also saying that He is restoring his times and His seasons to His people that is part of the “lost inheritance”. He says that his people “know the times and seasons” (1 Thess 5:1) so that they would not be taken unaware on The Day of The Lord. God’s calendar was disregarded in the times of Constantine in the early 300s when the roman church was established and the early Christian church came under persecution.  God is restoring His calendar as part of “the restoration of hearts of Fathers to children and children to Fathers” as spoken of by the prophet Malachi. I walked into a home store last week and found “the perfect clock”. It was exactly the clock that I had imagined. I was rather taken aback when I looked at the time on it. It was stopped at 1 to 2 minutes before midnight.    

It fuelled the urgency in my spirit, even more, to pray for but also to “write the vision and make it plain that those who read it may run” Habakkuk 2:2.  Someone has to blow the trumpet to awaken to prepare for war. 

On Monday morning (Sunday night) I set my alarm for 5 minutes to midnight to awaken to pray to keep “the watch of the Lord” I said to The Lord.”Lord I can’t bring myself to set the alarm to 1 minute to midnight, surely we have a little more time than that’ (that’s just how I speak with The Lord) but I purposely set the watch that night/morning for 5 minutes to midnight as a prophetic declaration of the recognition before The Lord of the “urgency of time” and “the lateness of the hour” in terms of the time clock of this age as we know it.  

As the alarm sounded and I woke, I saw a clear night vision. It was only a “snapshot” but very clear and the interpretation was simultaneous.  I had not been dreaming that I recall prior to the alarm sounding. I saw a single vial of an anaesthetic agent sitting on a bedside table. That is all I saw. It was not in a particular setting. It was simply a side table with the upright vial standing in the centre. The Lord said “My people have been anaesthetised. They have had their senses put to sleep by half-truths/mixture. Their spiritual eyes, spiritual ears, spiritual taste and spiritual feelings (hearts to know and understand) have been put to sleep by half-truths (doctrines of demons). The church is not just merely sleeping; they have been anaesthetised. 

I really struggled to awaken to keep this watch. My eyelids were very heavy and I had to force them to open and I went downstairs to spend time with The Lord.  I didn’t know how to “pray into this revelation” and couldn’t find my way into praying into it except to ask the Lord to please waken the church, please waken His bride. I spent most of the watch just reading His word and soaking in worship. 

On the following Wednesday afternoon as I was driving out of the car park after work I heard The Lord say “Truth Serum that is the antidote”. Obviously what The Lord had shown me on Sunday night/Monday morning sat heavy in my spirit wondering what he wanted me to do with that Word . Then I heard Him say “The plumb line of Truth is being dropped into the earth” (realm). I had a mental picture of a large wrecking ball on a chain (the kind you see suspended on large cranes for demolishing buildings) with the word “TRUTH” on it. Things are about to be shaken. Structures built on the wrong foundations will not stand. Everything will be laid bare, including the foundations. Only that which has been built on “the rock of revelation” will be left standing. 

There is a reference to “the plumbline” in the book of Zechariah in Chapter 4:10 onwards. It says “who has despised the day of small things. For these seven (the eyes of The Lord….the sevenfold spirit of God) rejoice to see the plumbline in the hand of Zerubbabel.  They are the eyes of The Lord which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.   There is a reference also in 2nd Chronicles 16:9 which says “The eyes of The Lord go to and fro throughout the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of a people whose hearts are wholeheartedly given to Him.” The verse that prefaces this one tells of the victory given to a small number of Gods people relative to two great armies with chariots and horses, as they put their sole reliance in Him, see Verse 8 and then verse 10 which follows tells of King Asa’s foolishness as he makes alliances with Syria(foreign gods, worlds money and worlds system, structures of man) which brought his peoples demise; i.e. wars 

The Lord is making an urgent appeal to His people to prepare themselves, to get ready, to examine themselves, to build their altar (i.e. wash with the water of the Word and get rid of attachments to idols in their life and to devote themselves to worship and prayer as a lifestyle. It is a day to take a personal audit on what we give ourselves (time, money attention to and to ask The Lord to reveal to us “the little foxes “ that are hiding which keep us in bondage to sin and prevent us from moving into the fullness of possessing our inheritance.. The Word says “Confess your sins to one another that you may be healed” Sin keeps us in bondage and keeps us from moving forward. The Lord is coming near us for judgement. His truth is about to break in with force. If we judge ourselves and repent of the stuff in our lives that does not align with the truth then when “the wrecking ball of truth breaks through” we will move with its power rather than be struck and devastated by it.  This “wrecking ball” is not intended for God’s people but it is intended to bring down the “powers and principalities” that we war against, in order that God’s government of peace may be established in and through His people. 

I believe that we are on the threshold of the days like those of Elijah. There is about to be a “showdown” like there was between the prophets of Baal and Elijah upon Mt Carmel. God wants to reveal Himself again in these days. First he will come “Suddenly to His temple” to refine and consume His people with a burning fire of passion for Him, a Holy zeal for His house to be built. A house in which all the vessels have written on them “Holiness unto The Lord”; that is “I am here for one purpose and one alone; to love Him and make His Love known to the world.” 

We must examine ourselves in this day and this hour so that we may not “drink the cup of The Lord in an unworthy manner” and find ourselves in the path of “the wrecking ball” 

Hebrews 10:26 says “If we continually wilfully sin, knowing the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins but a certain fearful expectation of judgement and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a COMMON THING and insulted the Spirit of grace. For we know Him Who said Vengeance is Mine; I will repay says The Lord and again The Lord will judge His people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hand of The Living God. 

There is a great Move of God, such as we have never seen on the threshold. It’s not on the horizon anymore. There will be a refining work of The Spirit of God, a fire of His burning coming to purify His Body and to separate what is Holy from what is profane in His temple. . The tabernacle of David will be built which will house an altar upon which the fire will never be extinguished. It will be a flame of the burning love of His people.  We will start to see how many move out of traditional church structures to gather for prayer and worship and “to share everything that they have”. They will release the sound of heaven and declare the decrees of heaven into the earth. They will sing. They will shout. They will dance. They will prophesy on instruments. They will sing to each other in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. They will hear and sing the “New Song”. They will hunger and thirst for “the pure word”.  This will not look like any other “move of God” that we recognise historically but will have all the expressions of past movements flow from it.  Yes there will be an expression of “Holiness”; there will be an expression of “Healing” there will be an expression of “Latter rain” there will be an expression of “Father’s Heart”. These in a sense we’re all memorial markers along the way (as I see it). The Lord says that we are moving from Glory to Glory;  secrets that have been hidden for the ages are about to be revealed in one glorious display as the apocalypse “The Great Unveiling”; the Revelation of Jesus Christ takes place and the light and sound of heaven break into the earth. Fullness.  

Three and a half years ago as I was walking through a garden nursery, my attention was drawn to a Hibiscus plant called “rags to riches”. It has a beautiful deep crimson full flower.  It reminds me of the “crimson flow of the blood of Jesus”. The Lord said to me (paraphrase)” I want you to plant a row of these; a hedge’ and when they come into maturity (fullness) in foliage and bloom it will be a sign of the coming into the fullness of the things of The Kingdom.” It would be a sign of coming fruitfulness and recompense (rags to riches). Well, this year (2013) about a month before Rosh Hashanah they were glorious. Full height, beautiful rich foliage and covered in blooms. I remember taking a photograph and sending to a friend (pastor’s wife) with the caption “Fullness” 

 The Lion has roared; who will not fear. The Lord God has spoken, who can but prophesy. (Amos 3:8) 

The Word of The Lord has been shut up in the bones of the prophets and burns like a fire which can no longer be contained. 

Fullness.  I believe that the summation of Jesus’ prayer to The Father in John 17; is the expression of Fullness.  “From rags to riches”. “Father, I desire that they be One with Me as You and I are One.” 

One with The One Who is The Way, The TRUTH, the life, the GREAT I AM.  

John 17:17 says. I will sanctify (set them apart, make holy) them by My Truth. My WORD is truth” 

When we become “one” with THE TRUTH (Jesus) we will be able to engage the powers of darkness, “in the power and Spirit of Elijah” The darkness will hold no fear for us and we will walk in “the light of the Word. 

So The Lord saying today. “Wake up and Live”. “Choose THIS DAY whom you will serve. 

Put off the “old man”. CHOOSE to live deliberately. There is no time to put it off until tomorrow. 

Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God” 

These are urgent days to have our minds “washed by the water of The Word” We must make spending time with Jesus by reading His word and speaking to Him about His Word a priority in these days because we will have to know it to use it offensively and defensively to rise above the darkness in the days ahead. 

We must ensure that “our treasure lies in heaven” where it cannot be shaken, attacked and plundered, and not in the earthly systems, which will not be able to save us when “everything that can be shaken will be shaken” 

Psalm 91:4 “His TRUTH” shall be your shield and buckler” 

ONLY TRUTH WILL REMAIN
