In mid-2014, around July/August I think The LORD woke me up suddenly with a song. It was after a 21-day Daniel fast. I was praying for my city of Brisbane and for the nation of Australia with the prayer of repentance by Daniel from Chapter 9, verse 4 onward.
“And I prayed to The LORD my GOD and made confession, and said, “Oh LORD, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him and with those who keep His commandments, 5, we have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments, 6 Neither have we heeded Your servants, the prophets, who spoke in Your Name to our kings and our princes, to our fathers and all the people of the land. 8 O LORD, righteousness belongs to You, but shame of face, as it is this day-to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You, 9 To The LORD our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. 10 We have not obeyed the voice of The LORD our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants, the prophets.
11 Yes all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him, 12 And he has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our judges who judged us by bringing upon us a great disaster, for under the whole heaven such has never been done to Jerusalem. 13 As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; YET WE HAVE NOT MADE OUR PRAYER BEFORE THE LORD THAT WE MAY TURN FROM OUR INIQUITIES AND UNDERSTAND TRUTH, 14 Therefore, The LORD has kept this disaster in mind, and brought it upon us, for The LORD our God IS RIGHTEOUS IN ALL THE WORKS HE DOES (judgements implied here) though we have not obeyed his Voice. 15, And now, O LORD our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a Name as it is this day-we have sinned and done wickedly,16, O LORD according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your Holy mountain, because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. 17 Now, therefore, our God, hear the prayer of Your servant, and his supplications, and FOR THE LORD’S SAKE, cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary, which is desolate, 18 O my God, incline Your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city, which is called by Your name, for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies 19 Oh LORD hear! Oh LORD forgive! Oh LORD listen and act! Do not delay for our own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your Name.”
That’s a pretty good prayer for us to be praying right now as “the abomination (SSM) of desolation” is jockeying for position in “our temple” in “our city” in “THIS GREAT SOUTHLAND OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.”
Being woken with the lyrics of a song was a first so to speak of The LORD speaking to me in this way. The song was neither of “my era” nor my “genre” in terms of musical preferences, so it really got my attention. I was familiar with the song as it had been popular in Australia about 30 years ago. The lyrics start (and this first verse was all I heard”)

I couldn’t sleep. I knew THE LORD was speaking to me.

I realised that they were about the injustice to the first nations people of our nation and to cut a long story short, The LORD revealed that His heart was grieved at the injustice and that “the winds of change” were about to start blowing in order to remove “the powers and principalities, the rulers in High places. This led me to intercessory journeys to Alice Springs and Uluru initially, the heart of our nation, then to Bowen, the “gate” of the slave trade in Australia and to the East Caribbean and to the West Caribbean where the foundations of the colonial governance were on the backs of the African Slaves. I was later sent to the USA including Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia (Captain Cooks route) from Seattle. I was sent to repent for colonial invasion, the injustice and bloodshed and to call for the overturning of unrighteous governmental structures in every sphere and to call for “the winds of change” to blow away the old, and to call forth the governors of Gods Kingdom back to “the gates”.
The last of these assignments before the winds began to blow in our nation was up into the South Pacific Islands (Vanuatu and New Caledonia) and was to call for the fulfilment of the prophetic declaration made on the Day of Pentecost in 1606 by a Portuguese explorer, dedicating all the lands from the islands of Vanuatu, specifically from Santo Spirito island all the way south to the pole, to The Kingdom of God. So, came about the name “The Great Southland of The Holy Spirit”. Most of the slaves that came to work on the cane fields in North eastern Australia were taken from the South Pacific Islands. The term given to this slave trade was “blackbirding”.
CYCLONE DEBBIE
In the days, just prior to a second intercessory cruise up to the islands of The South Pacific, an unprecedented whirlwind (cyclone) began forming out in the Coral Sea Northeast of Australia. It was unprecedented in the sense that it was extraordinarily slow moving and had an extensive radius. Its diameter was around 1,000 km’s.
As it formed out in the Coral sea, I knew in my spirit that God was speaking through this storm and I waited for the name to be given to the cyclone to see what God was saying. It was named “Debbie”, shortened form of DEBORAH.
The bible tells us that that in the days of the Judges, “everyone did what was right in their own eyes”. There was no King in those days.
They had lost the true foundation of true governance in the land. Eli’s wicked sons failed to steward their priestly duties and so society was imploding, I expect that they are not unlike the days in which we find ourselves living in now. God raised up a “mother” it tells us. Deborah is often referred to as “The Mother of Israel”. She was a prophetess and was the fourth judge of Israel.
Deborah’s name means “Honeybee” which points to the sweetness of God’s word, his Truth.
I knew that God was saying that he was coming in this whirlwind to remove the unrighteous “rulers at the gates” and to bring His righteous governance. I also perceived that He was going to raise up “Mothers” in this hour, zealous for God, zealous for His Truth and zealous for His inheritance in this millennial generation. I also sensed that He was raising up a prophetic movement in this hour and that many of these would-be women.
I also had this, strong expectation and watched with anticipation, that this wind would make landfall through “the gate” of Bowen.
In April of 2015, The LORD has sent me on an intercessory assignment. I got a “one-liner” message from the Lord “You need to go to Bowen, it’s a gate and The Glory train is coming through Bowen.
That’s just how it is with the way The LORD communicates with me; one liners that send me on a history search and subsequent adventure.
My friend, prophetic artist Pam Finlay can testify that this is true.
I discovered that Captain Cook had sighted and visited and named Edgecombe Bay on the eastern side, now known as Kings Beach (interesting name change I think) in 1770.
He sailed through the famous (world heritage listed) Whitsunday islands, in addition to The South Pacific Islands, Hawaii and New Zealand.
Long story short, because of European invasion and settlement, the indigenous peoples were treated inhumanely, tortured, imprisoned and used as slaves. On Whitsunday island itself, Captain Cooks crew were responsible for annihilating the tribe that inhabited that island. And the disgraceful irony is that Whit Sunday was named for the day on the Anglican religious calendar 7 Sundays after easter (the replacement celebration for Pentecost) and the day on which we celebrate the outpouring of The Holy Spirit.
The blood cries out from these islands.
In addition, Bowen was named after the first governor of Queensland and was originally considered to be the capital of Queensland because of the significant size and suitability as a port. It is Queensland’s oldest town. There are strong freemasonry roots and it was through this “gate of Bowen that the “blackbirded” slaves came from the South Pacific Islands (mainly from Vanuatu) to be used to establish cane fields.
The cane fields extended approximately 1,000 km’s, as far north as Townsville and South to Mackay, even some as far as the North Brisbane area and you can anticipate I am sure what I am going to tell you is that the path of the cyclone extended almost as far north as Townsville after it came through the “gate” of Bowen and extended as far south as Mackay and the worst hit area for damage was Proserpine, south of Bowen, named after the fertility goddess “Proserpina”. Remember fertility has to do with “seeds”.
The cane fields were flattened. Life was spared and there wasn’t severe extensive damage to properties although the cane fields were flattened.
Heavy rains followed down the east coast of Australia to Brisbane and as we sailed out of Sydney for the intercessory assignment to The South Pacific Islands, the storm hit Sydney and we sailed up through the aftermath of the cyclone, as it weakened travelling south.
Closely on the heels of this cyclone, another was bearing down on The Bay of Plenty in New Zealand.
Not coincidentally, the name of this cyclone was “Cook” and The Bay of Plenty was named by Captain Cook.
I knew that as we travelled on “Explorer of The Seas” that we were retracing the trade and slave routes of the explorers Cook and Dalrymple to bring a reversal of the curse, restoration and redemption of everything that had been lost a and stolen,
At the same time, as “COOK” was forming over The Bay of Plenty, another cyclone “ERNIE” was forming over the Northwest “gate” of Australia. The name “Ernie means “battle to the end” and the city of Darwin was named after Charles Darwin, the evolutionist. I have no doubt that The LORD is speaking through these storms. He is about removing these powers and principalities. He has heard the cries of his people. The shaking of all things has begun. It is not going to be “smooth sailing”.
At that time as I documented these cyclones, The LORD said to me “Watch where the winds blow in this next season. He said “old foundations are being washed away. Rain is coming to confirm your inheritance” and the reference God was speaking to me from was Psalm 68.
HURRICANE HARVEY
Now Hurricane “Harvey” barrels through Houston.
God is again “speaking in the whirlwind”. It is not a still small voice this time. He is wanting to wake up the Heart, Mind and Spirit of The United States of America. His vengeance is not directed toward people but toward the rulers in high places. Unfortunately, in the western society it is almost impossible to escape our “attachment” in some form or other to these societal structures that are on mixed foundations. I believe in this hour God is addressing these “mixed foundations”. There can only be one foundation that will stand in the millennium and that is Christ, the Cornerstone.
Harvey means “warrior”
Houston comes from the name meaning “Hughes town”, The name Hugh is Scottish and means “heart, mind, spirt”
The wind of God is blowing through the gate of “THE COMMAND CENTRE OF THE WORLD” in order to wake up the warriors.
Wherever you go in the western world it is possible to hear someone say, “We have a problem Houston”
There is no doubt that Texas represents the “heart, mind and spirit” of Christians in the USA.
God is calling His People to awaken and get back to “the command centre”. We have to come back to “The Heart of Worship” and the place where we can “hear the still small voice” which say’s “this is the way, walk ye in it”. It all about Jesus. It’s not about structures and buildings and religious rituals and formats or styles.
I was so blessed to see a video that went viral on FB of a beautiful African American lady leading worship in a shelter in the midst of a storm. LORD, there’s a Deborah right there. She knows how to stand and fight in the face of adversity.
HURRICANE IRMA
I found that many people had found that the name “Irma” meant “war goddess” and there were quite a significant number of people in the prophetic community who were “rebuking the storm”, believing it was from “the enemy”. It really unsettled me. Some of these voices I have great respect for but on this occasion, I felt that they were not hearing and seeing accurately. “We see in part and we know in part”. We need to be very careful not to walk in presumption as Moses did when he “struck the rock,” when The LORD told him to “speak to the rock”. We cannot walk in “method”. We must walk circumspectly in these days. That means taking a good look at the whole picture. Look at every angle before moving.
As soon as I saw and heard of this storm forming in the Caribbean waters I researched the name Irma. I am watching the “winds” in this season. Especially significant that these storms are forming at the time in the Hebraic calendar month of Elul.
It was on Elul 1st, 2nd and 3rd that The LORD sent me on an assignment to the USA “to reverse the curse and redeem the sound”. Elul is “the month of repentance” before the “great and awesome day “Rosh Hashanah. It is a month to examine ourselves and to “get right with The LORD”
The first name meaning. that “popped up” when I began researching was “Brazen rod”.
There can be no doubt that implies judgement. The word tells us that, Gods judgements are righteous; that they are good. His judgments come not to destroy but to “reset”, to get rid of what is not holy and to restore what is right.
My prayer through the entirety of this period was” Lord let Your righteous judgements come to remove the wickedness in high places, Let Your vengeance be upon the powers and principalities at the gates but Lord, remember mercy to the people.”
Like cyclone Deborah, this was a slow-moving system of about 1,000 km diameter and was again focused on the islands where the slave trade had been focused, the Caribbean (where I had been sent on assignment) and to blessing.
Why Florida? I couldn’t find a history of slavery, however what I did discover is that the Florida Keys, the focus of the intensity of IRMA in the USA were originally inhabited by First nations, Calusa and Tequesta Americans. It was Juan Ponce de Leon (incidentally who became the governor of Puerto Rico, where I had also been sent on a specific assignment two-years prior and also hit hard by this cyclone) named the Keys “Los Martirs” which means “THE MARTYRS” because they “looked like suffering men from a distance. “Really? Could it be that “the blood of the martyrs is crying out from beneath the altar? “
It is interesting too that the Portuguese explorer, Juan Ponce de Leon was “looking for the fountain of youth” and “the new world”. Well Jesus is the living water. There is no other eternal fountain and there is an eternal age to come, a “new world” coming, the bible tells us. The old will pass away and a new heaven and new earth will be revealed.
Chapter 6:9 Revelation say’s “When He (the lamb) opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.”
Chapter 17 Revelation says, “Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters” and V6 “I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of saints and with the blood of martyrs of Jesus’. Read the whole of Revelation Ch 17.
I am not in any way implying that “the woman” is the USA. Not at all. The “woman” is a “system”, a “governmental structure” that God is beginning to “shake “in this season”. It is interesting to me that that William Penn, one of the true founding fathers of the USA was associated with George Fox (Fox’s book of martyrs) who called themselves initially “Children of the Light” then “friends of truth” and later just “Friends”.
I believe that God is again calling us back to the simplicity in which these men walked and many gave their lives for in their desire to be called “friends of God “.
The two hurricanes which are following and weakening in their severity are Jose, meaning “may God give increase” and Katia, meaning “pure, Virginal”.
Can there be any doubt that God is speaking, coming to blow away and wash away the old in order to make way for the new, His virgin bride?
He is the God who “rides the heavens”
Psalm 68:7 ‘Oh God when You went out before Your people,
When You marched through the wilderness,
The earth shook,
The heavens dropped rain at the presence of God
Sinai (the place where they were given the law, originally considered to be like a certificate of marriage by the people) itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
You, O God sent plentiful rain whereby You confirmed Your inheritance when it was weary”
I believe that we are in the beginning period of “shaking” or “birth pangs” as described in Matthew Chapter 24. The only thing that will not be shaken is the eternal Word of God and anything that is built upon that Word. If we have attachments to things that are not founded on the pure Word of God we can expect to experience some effects of the shaking in the days ahead.
We need to increasingly spend time in the “quiet place” with The LORD in the days ahead so that we can get direction on how to move in this season of shaking and shifting.
My prayer in this season is “LORD let Your righteous judgements come in to the earth and let Your vengeance be on the powers and principalities but LORD in judgments, let Your mercy be upon Your people, Your inheritance. “
