We then drove to Mount Basalt park to see the hexagonal-shaped rocks. Was slightly interesting. Not too strenuous a climb

Well we then detoured through a little town called Bell where there was a Biblical garden. The lady next to the Catholic church does an amazing job maintaining it. I then discovered by accident that it is in the shape of a cross. The Mural in the Catholic church was really amazing too. I can also highly recommend the cafe across the road. It was such a unique cafe.

Well Viv saw an ad for a Squeezebox festival in Macalgan and as her Mum used to have a Piano Accordion she wanted to go to it. The average age was over 70. The players are really good but there are not a lot of young people learning these instruments. We started meeting the guys on a Friday night and they talked us into going to the Pub with them where they were going to have a jam Session. They do this every year. It is always in October and next year will be the 20th Anniversary.

Kaimkillenbun has the longest name of any town in Queensland. Not a lot here except for a pub and a large Farm engineering factory.

Old Dodge out front of Pub.

Jandowae was a pleasant surprise and this is where the Dingo fence starts. It is the second-longest Structure in the world. Was designed to keep the Dingos out of the more fertile east. We stayed at the Golf course and which was run by Graham and an 83-year-old man. he did n amazing job keeping it green.

The Auburn River National Park was dead quiet as we were the only ones who stayed there the whole time we were there.

Mundubbera is the Manadarin growing capital and we met a wonderful Husband and Wife Team who run a small shop from the church to help feed the poor. They told us some amazing stories and their testimonies. We found out there will be a Blueberry festival at the end of the month and so we are headed back there for the Blues Music and Blueberries.
